Sangam //

Identity Design

Sangam is a boutique hotel located on the island of Jag Niwas in Lake Pichola, Udaipur, India. It was built between 1743-1746, under the direction of the Maharana Jagat Singh II of Udaipur, Rajasthan, as a royal summer palace and was initially called Jagniwas or Jan Niwas after its founder. In 1964 the famous Hindi movie "Sangam" was filmed in the palace and in 1971 the palace was converted into a boutique hotel.

The hotel puts emphasis on Indian history with a modern twist which can be experienced through the chef restaurant, romantic dinners served on boats on the lake, the pampering spa providing Indian treatments, private screenings of the film "Sangam", and it's unique look & feel of luxury.
